Michael Winner recently gave the restaurant a mention and raved on about the chips. This is the third time he has remarked upon chef Dominic Chapman's skill in chipping potatoes. So hopefully this will secure the guys a slot in Winners Dinners Awards which will be published in September.

The Royal Oak has also been voted Number 5 in Eat Out Magazine's Top 100 Pubs Review and 26th in Square Meals' Summer Magazine, Top 50 Restaurants.
