Dominic Wins!

Congratulations to our Royal Oak chef Dominic Chapman who has won the Craft Guild of Chefs Award 2009 in the Pub Restaurant category.

This is a major achievement for Dominic as these awards are regarded as the chef's 'Oscars'. There are 14 different categories with 3 chef's nominated in each one. The two men up against Dom were Mick Illingworth from the Thatchers Arms on the Essex and Suffolk borders and Michael Ward from the Highwayman Inn in Lancashire.

This is not only a great reward for Dominic but also for all of the staff working at the Royal Oak.
