Whisper it quietly, but Andy Murray is in the 4th round of the Aussie Open without dropping a set, and looking, to quote his own oft-repeated phrase, "awesome".

| Murray into the Quarter Finals for the first time in Oz. Some of his tennis in his straight sets win over yank John Isner was awesome at times. Bring on Rafa.

| Allow yourself to get a little excited now Francis, after Murrays superb triumph over Nadal. Okay Rafa retired midway through the third set, but Andy was again Awsome and 2 and at half sets up, I saw no way of even a super fit Rafa ever recovering. Cillic in the semis to come, dont rest on your laurels now Andy.

| What a superb demolition of Cilic after being a set down! Cilic had, it's true, played about twice as much tennis as Andy in the tournament, but Andy deserved his second Grand Slam final place. Just a little matter of beating (probably) Federer, and he's cracked it! Will he end "74 years of hurt" as the media described it, and finally emulate Fred Perry?

| Yes another fine win for the Scot, who has matured and got stronger, and stronger, by working very very hard since he burst on the scene a few years ago. Good Luck in the Final Andy, you deserve your first Grand Slam.

| Bitterly disappointed for Andy after his defeat at the hands of the tennis God that is Roger Federer. Poor Andy was never really in control, he didnt play badly, but then again he wasnt at his best either. You can only play well if your opponent lets you and Federer just didnt allow that. Murray emotionally drained at the end of it, will hopefully choose Wimbledon for that elusive first Grand Slam title. Roll on June.

| After playing his best attacking game and sweeping everyone aside during the tournament, Andy was probably too defensive when it came to the crunch. So maybe that's one more psychological step up he needs to make to win a Grand Slam. Roger Federer was a gentleman in victory as ever - Andy's time will come, but some great tennis this time!
